1. Who we are

CallGuard is provided by MXAND (“MXAND,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how CallGuard handles information when you use the app.

2. Information processed on your device

CallGuard processes information locally on your device to provide the protection features you choose to enable. Depending on your settings and device capabilities, this can include:

• incoming-call information needed to identify and apply your selected call-protection rule;
• your contacts, solely to distinguish recognised contacts from unknown callers when that feature is enabled;
• the guardian phone number you set, the selected call limit, PIN-protected settings, and related app preferences; and
• local records needed for the app to function, such as a configured protection rule or block list.

This information stays on your device. CallGuard does not upload it to an MXAND-operated server.

3. No developer collection or sale of personal data

MXAND does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share your call logs, contacts, phone numbers, call content, or CallGuard settings. CallGuard does not use advertising or analytics SDKs to transmit this information to MXAND or to advertising partners.

4. Guardian SMS notifications

If you enable Guardian Notification, CallGuard instructs your device to send an SMS to the guardian phone number you selected. The message is sent from your device through your mobile operator’s messaging service to your chosen guardian. MXAND does not relay, receive, or retain the SMS or its recipient number.

Standard messaging charges from your mobile operator may apply. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to use the guardian’s phone number and for informing that person that they may receive CallGuard notifications.

5. Permissions and your choices

CallGuard asks for only the permissions needed for a feature you choose to use. You may refuse or revoke a permission at any time in your device settings. If you do, the related CallGuard feature may not work.

You can stop local processing by disabling the relevant CallGuard feature, clearing CallGuard’s local data where that option is available, or uninstalling the app. Uninstalling CallGuard removes app data managed by the app from your device, subject to your device and backup settings.

6. Purchases through Google Play

If you purchase a CallGuard subscription, payment processing is provided by Google Play under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. MXAND does not receive or store your payment-card details. Google Play may process purchase information independently to complete, manage, or restore your purchase.

7. Security

Because CallGuard processes its core protection data locally, that information is protected by your device’s security controls. Keep your device, operating system, and app version up to date, and protect your device with an appropriate screen lock.

8. Children

CallGuard is not directed to children. MXAND does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app.

9. Changes to this policy

If CallGuard’s data practices change, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the “Last updated” date above.
